2 Day Adult Rock Climbing Course
Our 2 day adult rock climbing course is an extension from the 1 day course and is designed for those who wish to develop their technical knowledge and be able to climb independently and safely outside. We will concentrate on various rope setting techniques while also learning how to minimize the erosion of the rock, select the right routes for your grade, learn about climbing equipment and much more! Cost: £150 pp
This adult rock climbing course is suitable for anyone who has some climbing experience, can belay and tie in. You do not need to have done any of our other courses to attend this course.
The adult rock climbing course is based at Harrison’s Rocks , in Sussex. If you have only climbed indoors then this is a perfect venue for your first ventures onto real rock.
Southern Sandstone is very unlike any other rock in the UK – it is a soft rock that requires some specific skills and techniques on how to access, protect and enjoy climbing at this beautiful venue.
This adult rock climbing course is aimed to enable you to climb independently and therefore you will be learning various knots, how to stay safe at the crag, rope setting skills and how to protect the rock. You will also learn Sandstone etiquette, history and geology, while also having a fun, relaxed weekend of climbing with a few tips on how to improve your technique along the way.
The fully qualified and highly experienced instructors will tailor the course to accommodate each person’s ability and needs. The routes chosen can be as easy or as challenging as you wish.
One of the benefits of this course is that the ratio is kept low (maximum 1:6) to ensure you will receive a quality personal experience.
